Art Market Set-Up Crew
One hundred seventy artists will arrive to set up the Art Market on Saturday, May 17th, and we need volunteers to help from 6:00 am to 11:00 am. Set-up assistants will help artists find their spaces, locate the artist hospitality center,
and communicate as necessary with Artsplosure staff members. Set-up crew members will be asked to attend one pre-festival meeting during the week of
May 12.

Art Market Block Manager
Once load-in is complete, 4 block managers manage sections of the Market, handling requests from artists, including calling for “booth sitters” during festival hours. The first shift works from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, the second shift, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Art Market Block Managers will be asked to attend one pre-festival meeting during the week of May 12.

Booth Sitter
During the festival, “sitters” occupy and look after exhibitors’ booths so that artists may take short breaks.

Festival Set-Up Crew
If you can work in the early morning hours, the production crew needs help with miscellaneous tasks Saturday morning, 6:00 am until 11:00 am. Most of this work is of a physical nature (climbing ladders and trees, lifting and moving sound equipment, etc.).

Festival Break-Down Crew
We also need assistance breaking down Sunday night between 6:00 pm and 11:00 pm. Most of this work is of a physical nature (climbing ladders and trees, lifting and moving sound equipment, etc.).

Kidsplosure Activities Helper
Lots of enthusiastic volunteers who love working with children supervise fun crafts activities in Moore Square Park.

Greeter at Donation Station
“Donation Stations" at festival entrances encourage people to donate to Artsplosure (you'd be amazed at how much it costs to put on a "free" event). Volunteers greet visitors, actively seek contributions and hand out event information at each station. If you like dealing with the public, this is a great job for you.

Performer, Artist and Volunteer Hospitality Assistant
This dedicated group of volunteers staffs, maintains and supplies hospitality areas. Tasks include moving food, ice, and drinks to various festival locations, and keeping service areas clean.

Survey Assistant
Survey assistants roam the entire festival, interviewing people to complete surveys about our festival. Also, after the event, we need help tabulating the surveys (data entry at our office), and doing the statistical analysis, if you are available.

Performer Transportation
Some of our performers arrive by airplane, and we need a few drivers on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday of festival week to assist the transportation coordinator with picking them up and delivering them to their hotels.

General Help
If you sign up for this job, we put you where you can contribute the most. Duties can include hanging signs, running supplies or merchandise to various event sites, transporting equipment or artists, or filling in last minute on any of the above jobs when we find we have gaps.

Jazz Lunch Assistant
If you are available Wednesday, Thursday or Friday at lunch during festival week, you can lend a hand hosting visiting bands, handing out information about the festival to the public, and listening to great music.

Office Assistant
Starting in late April right up through the event, our office gets busy and we need support answering the phones, preparing materials, and putting together mailings. If you have a few hours during the weekday, we'd love to schedule you.
