7:00 pm until the Best Picture Award is Given

This gala event is one of 46 Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences-sanctioned parties held across the country on Oscar Night ® to raise money for worthwhile nonprofit organizations and charities. Raleigh’s Oscar Night ® America Party will benefit Artsplosure, the presenter of First Night ® Raleigh on New Year’s Eve and the Artsplosure Spring Arts Festival the third weekend in May.

The evening will be an elegant and fun way to celebrate the Academy Awards ®. Dress is “Creative Black Tie.”

Attendees will:
• Watch the Academy Awards ® telecast.
• Participate in a red carpet procession complete with
  “paparazzi,” celebrity look-a-likes,
  and fashion commentary.
• Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres with two complimentary glasses
  of wine.
• Receive either an official program or commemorative poster   from the 78th Academy Awards ®.
• Have the opportunity to bid on works of art by North Carolina’s   premiere visual artists.
• Try their luck winning some great prizes in a raffle and a   “Predict the Winners” contest.

Tickets are $65/person. A limited number of reserved eight-person tables are available for $650 per table. Raffle tickets are $5 each or five for $20. The tax-deductible portion of each admission ticket is $25.

Complimentary valet parking will be available on the Salisbury Street side of the Wachovia Capitol Center, which will also serve as the official Red Carpet entrance to Raleigh’s Official Oscar Night ® America Party.
