Say HELLO to 2009 at the BIGGEST PARTY OF THE YEAR! Don't miss FIRST NIGHT RALEIGH 2009 - Artsplosure's 18th annual New Year's Eve celebration of art and community in downtown Raleigh. First Night Raleigh 2009 will kick off with the Children's Celebration beginning at 2 PM at the NC Museums of History and Natural Sciences and outside on Bicentennial Plaza, followed by the People's Procession and Early Countdown at 7 PM. Evening entertainment features music, comedy, dance, and theatre in two dozen downtown locations! Performers include The Smithereens, John Brown and the Groove Shop Band, Claire Lynch, Christine Lavin, Mark Nizer, Fred Garbo Inflatable Theater, Transactors Improv Company, Lenny Marcus Trio, Southern String Band, Elm Collective, Paco Band and more! Admission buttons are on sale from December 1 at Raleigh area Harris Teeter and Rite Aid stores and other local retailers. |

North Carolina Symphony's New Year’s Eve Concert December 31, 7:30 PM Meymandi Concert Hall, Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts Buy one ticket, get one free with your First Night Button!
