Hanyu Hanna Chio’s DancEast Ensemble

Asian cultural dance team tells stories of "Spring Blossom" and the "Monkey King" through movement. In Spring Blossom, dancers portray sprouting plants, and their overlapping hands, grown trees. Dancing gestures are similiar to those seen in Hindu folk dance. Monkey King is one of the best-known stories from China of a most clever and courageous monkey born from a rock. The dance describes one of Monkey King's tricks, multiply his identity into five monkey kings.
